HOW TO INSERT VIDEOS INSIDE ANY MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT

Unlike Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word does not provide any efficient way to insert videos inside Microsoft word documents  The usual way to add video files is by creating an object and then inserting the video inside that object.

With this method, you have the options to either link the object to the video on your computer or insert it as an icon. The major problems with this method are that, you need to install a media player on our computer before you can play the inserted video file. The look and feel of the inserted file is not also nice or appealing.

With this method I’m about to show you, you will be able to insert videos inside microsft word documents and play the video right inside MS Word with all the control buttons present. You will also have the option to resize the video to any size you want.

STEP 1
First we need to convert the video to a flash file. To do that, we will need a software. I will recommend this free but powerful flash convertor called Free Video to Flash ConverterCLICKHERE to download.
When you are done downloading and installing, convert the video files to a ‘.flv ‘ format. It is so easy to use so I will not even spend time showing you how to do that.
STEP 2
Open the Word document you want o insert the videos. Go to insert and on the far right hand corner, you will find “Embed Flash”, click on that.

Note: You must install Adobe flash before the embed option will appear.

A screen will pop up, click on “I recognize this content. Allow to play”.  A window will pop up, browse for your video file and import it, click on “Ok. You have successfully inserted the video file inside word. To play, just double click on the video file and it will start to play. You can pause, forward, reverse or stop the video.
