Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to the Applications folder: This folder can be found on your Mac’s dock or by searching for it using spotlight.
  2. Right-click on the Zoom app: This will open a menu of options, select “Show package contents”
  3. Open the “Contents” folder: This will open a folder containing the resources used by the Zoom app.
  4. Open the “Frameworks” folder: This folder contains the ZoomUninstaller file.
  5. Use the ZoomUninstaller file to uninstall the app: This file is used to completely remove the Zoom app from your Mac.
  6. Reinstall Zoom: After uninstalling the app, you can reinstall it from the official website or App Store.

Go to the Applications folder: This folder can be found on your Mac’s dock or by searching for it using spotlight.

The Applications folder is where all the apps that are installed on your Mac are located. It can be found on your Mac’s dock by default, usually located at the bottom of the screen. You can also access the Applications folder by opening Finder, then selecting the “Applications” option from the sidebar on the left, or by using the spotlight search feature by pressing “Command + Space” and searching for “Applications.” Once you have located the Applications folder, you can proceed to the next step of the process.

Right-click on the Zoom app: This will open a menu of options, select “Show package contents”

Once you have located the Zoom app in the Applications folder, you will need to right-click on it to open a menu of options. Right-clicking can be done by clicking with two fingers on a trackpad or by clicking the “Control” button on a keyboard while clicking on the app. Once you have opened the menu, select the “Show Package Contents” option. This will open a new folder that contains all the resources and files that make up the Zoom app. This folder is used to access the ZoomUninstaller file needed to complete the process. It’s important to note that Show Package Content is not a standard feature, that’s why some apps may not have that option, and you should use the provided instructions by the software developer.

Open the “Contents” folder: This will open a folder containing the resources used by the Zoom app.

After selecting “Show package contents” on the Zoom app, it will open a new folder named “Contents”. This folder contains all the resources and files that make up the Zoom app, including the Frameworks folder which holds the ZoomUninstaller file. Inside the Contents folder, you will find several subfolders, including macOS, Resources, and Frameworks. Each folder contains different files used by the Zoom app.

Open the “Frameworks” folder: This folder contains the ZoomUninstaller file.

Once you have opened the “Contents” folder, you will need to open the “Frameworks” folder which contains the ZoomUninstaller file. This file is used to completely remove the Zoom app from your Mac. The Frameworks folder is where you will find the ZoomUninstaller file that you need to use to uninstall the app. This file is a script that will completely remove the Zoom app and all of its components from your Mac.

Use the ZoomUninstaller file to uninstall the app: This file is used to completely remove the Zoom app from your Mac.

The ZoomUninstaller file is a tool specifically designed to remove the Zoom app from a Mac computer. It can be used to completely uninstall the app and all of its associated files. You should use this file if you are having trouble uninstalling the Zoom app through the standard method or if you want to ensure that all traces of the app are removed from your computer.
