In this tutorial, I will show you how to solve the “The file is too large for the destination file system” problem in windows.

This problem usually comes when you are copying ISO file to Pendrives. You will realize that, no matter how large the space of the Pendrive is or how small the ISO file is, you will get the notification that the file is too large for the destination file system.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Make sure you have backed up all the files on the Pendrive.
Right click on the Pendrive then choose “Format”
Under the File system, click on the drop down menu and choose “NTFS”
You then click on “Start” then “Ok” .

This will format the drive using the “NTFS” file system.
When the formatting is completed, you can then start copying the files to the Pendrive without any problem this time.
NOTE: Make sure to format the Pendrive to the default file system “FAT32” when you are done.
